Day 518 - One of those afternoons...
... when you feel like saying "so, what...?" to ANYTHING and ALL, to everything you hear, see, know, dream, wish, hope, dare... You just wanna sleep indefinitely hoping only to be woke up by the morning sea breeze of a faraway desert beach... A strange moment when everything seems to be meaningless, pointless, useless... A moment when you feel too tired to fell asleep... when you are waiting for something to happen but you don't know what... when you want to wish of something but you dont't know what to wish for...
Then, suddenly, something unexpected happens, usually something stupid, weird, funny and you are starting all over again.

Day 518 - Led Zeppelin Forever
In concert. Passion and freedom.
Great rock hippie artists with personal jet - this is one of the coolest things ever. It is a total and ironic revenge upon the society that hippie movement was fighting against. That time when the natural human naked body with flowers on the long wild hair was celebrated... Remember?Well, I have a ritual. Every time I am feeling sucked out of energy, tired, upset or too much "the good guy playing by the rules", I charge my "batteries" listening Led Zeppelin. The first song is always "Rock an' Roll". And I am instantly THERE. I am dancing inside, shaking, jumping... And I am not feeling tired anymore. It is also my favorite music for speeding up on the highway.
A strange energy is filling me up. I regain my belief that anything is possible if you put your mind to it, if you have will, "guts" and "balls". Well, for me if it is about (to) rock, then it is definitely Led Zeppelin...
Right now, while I am writing I listen "Going To California"...

Open seasonOK, I was doing some research about malls history and I ran into the fabulous photo essays of Mr. Herman Krieger - that's because on his website there is a photo series called "Mall-aise".
His works depict a hidden, sad, decaying and lost face of America - an image that apparently has nothing to do with Hollywood, George Bush, NASA or Empire State Building. Is it or isn't it? I immensely love the work of Mr. Krieger. Apart from the sadness and nostalgia, his images are full of a tender humour... His site - listed on my links column - is a must see.
