Day 353 - Hypocrisy

It goes like that.
We have an artistic image with a naked woman. In other words, a work of art.
If the photographer is a "nobody", then that image has no artistic merit, is obscene - even pornography - and the woman depicted is a slut.
If the photographer is a well known artist (eventually old), a national or international celebrity and an authority in art, then the image is a masterpiece and the woman depicted is above all suspicions - her moral remains intact. She is a Muse, a Lady Of Arts etc.
BUT THE IMAGE IS THE SAME, AFTER ALL.
I remember once I posted an artistic nude on a photography forum. I was floodded with a river of invectives and criticism. Then I told them the author. It was an image created by Nobuyoshi Araki. The reaction? Silence.
Quod erat demonstrandum.
